Day 1: Arrival in Wellington & Wētā Workshop Experience

• Fly to Wellington

• Check-in at hotel (e.g., The Central Private Hotel By Naumi Hotels)

• Visit Wētā Workshop Experience Tour – See how the props, armor, and effects were created.

• Explore Wellington – Take a trip up to Mount Victoria for an iconic LOTR filming location.

Day 2: Putangirua Pinnacles – Path of the Dead

• Drive to Putangirua Pinnacles (about 1.5-2 hours from Wellington)

• Hike through the dramatic rock formations (featured as the Path of the Dead in Return of the King).

• Afternoon in Martinborough – Wine tasting and relaxation.

• Return to Wellington for overnight stay.

Day 3: Fly to Queenstown & Middle-earth Adventures

• Flight from Wellington to Queenstown

• Check-in at Eichardt's Private Hotel or The Dairy Private Hotel

• Afternoon tour: Glenorchy & Paradise Valley – Visit the forests of Lothlórien and the area used for Isengard.

• Dinner by Queenstown Wharf.

Day 4: Trails of Middle-earth Tour

• Full-day guided tour through iconic filming locations:

• Ithilien Camp (Twelve Mile Delta)

• Kawarau Gorge (Argonath – The Pillars of Kings)

• Mavora Lakes (Amon Hen & Nen Hithoel)

• Return to Queenstown for dinner and relaxation.

Day 5: Fly to Matamata & Hobbiton Movie Set Tour

• Flight from Queenstown to Hamilton or Rotorua

• Drive to Matamata (about 1 hour)

• Guided tour of Hobbiton Movie Set – Explore the famous village from The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. (Tours are estimated to last between 2,5 and 4,5 hours depending on the tour) (Can also be altered to fit your preferences. See Page X)

• Overnight stay: Hobbiton Movie Set Overnight Stays or Underhill Valley Hobbit Hole.

Day 6: Relaxing in Hobbiton & Adventure in Rotorua

• Morning in Hobbiton – Take extra pictures and enjoy a peaceful start.

• Drive to Rotorua (about 1 hour)

• Experience geothermal wonders & Māori culture

• Overnight stay at Woodlyn Park Hotel (with unique Hobbit-inspired rooms).

Day 7: Departure & Last Adventures

• Visit Waitomo Caves (if time allows)

• Drive to Auckland for departure
